“ This was a great session and really re-ignited our staff’s enthusiasm for Circle Time. Therese was very proactive in adapting her training to meet the needs of our staff who deliver Circle Time to adolescents with ASD. Everyone engaged with her fun and open approach.” April 2009
Sarah-Longley Cook - Grateley House School, Andover. UK School for Autistic and ASD students

I attended the Whole School Circle Time Programme facilitated by Therese in 2005 and was taken by the age range the programme catered for. We had Early childhood Teachers to teachers from Secondary school at the workshop. All at the end of the day shared how they could see it working in their environment. I was keen to have the programme implemented in our school hence the Circle Time Whole School Positive Behaviour Management Programme and Powerfully Positive Playtimes were introduced into our school in 2006. At that stage playtimes were times of unrest and teachers loathed going out on duty. We now have designated craze areas which have the activities changed weekly. The children are socialising, practising skills and having FUN at the same time. Busy children are HAPPY children. Teachers are now enjoying being in the playground interacting positively with the students. There is a lot more laughter and caring for each other in both the playground and the classroom. This Programme is about building positive relationships both in and out of the classroom. It certainly has made a difference in our school environment. I look forward to using your new ‘101 Playground Games’ Resource. The books is full of ideas and keep us motivated. Thanks Therese

Teachers are visiting the Lead school - Clifton school to watch Lead Teachers doing circle time, RTLB’s are then supporting teachers by coaching them and using the DVD. Clitfton as Lead school is working really well, with circle Time growing and people enthusistic and supporting each other. We RTLB's are finally doing ourselves out of a job. The Turn a Round Programme is continuing to network out to other schools and we are getting a lot of positive responses. The Circle Time programme is making our life easier where we can target some special needs children outside CT. It is making a huge difference to the majority of children. Thank you for all your support this year.

What makes Circle Time such a promising approach is that it enables schools to find out what is happening to their students that may be causing them to behave a certain way - and lets the students become part of the solution.
